As our lives change so do our needs and wants regarding where we live. As our family grows we may need more room or as our children leave the nest we may be faced with a house too big for our needs or one that requires more time and attention than we want to give it -- time that might be more enjoyably spent in travel, volunteering or just living a simpler life style. Or we may want a bigger house to accommodate visits from our adult children and grandchildren. Sometimes it may mean going from our own home to a place that provides some assistance with daily living and not having to worry about preparing every meal. It can be heart wrenching to leave a family home after many years but it can also be exciting and viewed as a great opportunity to make positive changes in one’s life. Having the right view of moving is critical to the success of the venture. It’s my goal to help you and your family handle it as painlessly as possible with empathy and understanding. I also have a support team to help make this transition a seamless process.
I have been a Realtor since 1999 in the changing Calgary real estate market and have enjoyed helping my clients as they move through many of the same stages of life that I, too, have experienced. I am a mother of four (all out of the house and on their own now – Yay!), grandmother of 7 (Yay! again!) and I love to travel. I have my Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation as well as being a Certified Condominium Specialist, ensuring that I have the expertise and resources to help my clients with a smooth transition with the next step in life’s journey. The fact that the majority of my business comes from past clients and/or referrals from satisfied clients speaks volumes about the dedication to the high quality of service that I offer my clients in meeting their Calgary and surrounding area real estate needs.
